The Morganville Vampires Series
Book 10 in the New York Times and UK Bestselling Morganville Vampire Series
Morganville, Texas is a quiet college town where humans and vampires live in relative peace. But lately a great deal of blood is being spilled. Not in a feeding frenzy, but for someone’s twisted idea of entertainment.
After discovering that vampires populate Morganville – and surviving a number of adventures – Claire Danvers has come to realize that for the most part, the undead just want to live their lives. But someone else has other ideas. There’s a new extreme sport being broadcast over the Internet: bare-knuckle fights pitting captured vampires against one another – or, worse, against humans. Tracking the signal leads Claire and her friends to discover that what started as an online brawl will soon threaten everyone in Morganville. And if they want to survive, they’ll have to do a lot more than fight...
'I'm not a big vampire fan but I've been loving this series ever since I read the first book, Glass Houses...The characters Rachel has created, Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael, have become my best friends...Overall, this book was a quick, fun read and I loved the touches of humour.'Maria V Snyder, bestselling teen author of Inside Out
'The Morganville Vampires are the best books I've ever read and I am not taking that back. They are so super cool and I can't wait for the next book coming out in November 2011. I love vampires!!!'Gaby
The Morganville series is fantastic - after reading the first book I was hooked. As soon as I finished one I was straight onto the next one. I have just finished reading Book 10 and I'm having withdrawls. Lucky for me I work in a book store, waiting with baited breath for Book 11! Keep up the good work Rachel, your a fantastic author.Nicky
