In recent months we have been selling books direct – from our gleaming new website of course, but also over the phone. And it’s been wonderful speaking to readers! The women who actually were Land Girls during the Second World War and were after a copy of the fictional account of a group of girls in 1940s Devon, Muddy Boots and Silk Stockings; those who remember only just not getting on The City of Benares that sinks in Jessica Mann’s The Mystery Writer. And, biased we may be, but it’s nice to have our opinion of the Morganvilles vs. Twilight series confirmed! Woohoo – we win the opinion poll!
