Susan Wooldridge‘s novel The Hidden Dance has won the award for Best Debut Novel in this year’s Big Red Read. Not only that, but it was also the runner up for the Fiction Award (which went to Glimpse of Happiness by Jean Fullerton).
Run by Redbridge Libraries, the Big Red Read saw forty authors nominated for the awards across non-fiction and fiction categories after which the public voted for their favourites.
