I’m in a bit of a quandary at the moment. I can’t help but be a bit suspicious of the beautiful sunshine we’ve been having – and cynical about how long it’s likely to last. Do I pack the winter coats and scarfs away? Or will Mother Nature wait until the day I do so and then plunge us into frost and freezer-like conditions again?
So just in case the temperature drops once again over the bank holiday bonanza, I’m making the most of the marvel that is Sky+. So far I’m recording the quite brilliant series The Kennedys, a few movies and most interestingly the TV adaptation of Kate Summerscale’s The Suspicions of Mr Whicher, due to be screened on 25th April. Hopefully I will be too busy soaking up the sun to watch much of it, but just in case it pours in true British tradition I’d like to have some options rather than having to watch an endless build up to the royal wedding including interviews with Kate’s cousin thrice removed.
