A must-see for art lovers
The celebrated British artist Keith Coventry held a private view of his work last night at Haunch of Venison in Mayfair which I was lucky enough to attend. I particularly loved his Echoes of Albany series which takes as its inspiration the mysterious Albany apartments in Burlington Gardens which have been home to numerous distinguished residents including Byron and Gladstone, and more recently Alan Clark, Bruce Chatwin and Terence Stamp. There was a great interview with Keith in the Telegraph last week in which he talks more about the Albany series – read it here.
What an astonishing artist Keith is – I really urge you to see his collection if you can, which remains on show until 15th August.
