October 2018: Susanna Kearsley
SUSANNA KEARSLEY inherited her love of genealogy from her father. The past and its bearing on the present is a familiar theme in her books. She was a curator at a museum for some years before she took the plunge and became a full-time author. She won the prestigious Catherine Cookson Award for her novel Mariana and was shortlisted for the Romantic Novel of the Year Award for Sophia\'s Secret. She lives in Canada, is active on her website, and also blogs at The Heroine Addicts blog.
