Description

Mrs B, landlady of the Marigold Cottages, only rents to tenants she cares about: anxious playwright Sophie, agoraphobic over-sharer Hamilton, single mum and sculptor Ocean, perfectionist Lily-Ann, and secretive Nicholas. Their peaceful lives are upended when quiet, hulking, fresh-out-of-prison Anthony moves in, and weeks later, a dead body is found. Anthony is arrested, but Mrs B, convinced of his innocence, confesses to the crime. The tenants form ‘The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective’ to clear her name, uncovering secrets and growing closer – until a second body turns up. Can the collective unravel the mystery without falling foul of the killer?
