What with it being Halloween tomorrow and the weather getting steadily more wintry, we’re all in a spooky mood. And I think there’s one scary trend that might be getting steadily bigger – I mean, of course, zombies. Yes, the undead theme has been around for a while now, but I think it’s still going strong (The Walking Dead is back!), and will perhaps be given another boost next year with the release of blockbuster World War Z, starring Brad Pitt. But you don’t need to wait until then to get your zombie fix – this Halloween, why not wrap up warm, turn the lights down low, and treat yourself to a zombie-themed book?

I think my favourite find is It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Zombies: A Book of Zombie Christmas Carols. Who knew the undead could kick off that festive feeling?
