Ledbury Books and Maps is delighted to announce that its crime writing festival, Ledburied, is hosting an evening with Sarah Hawkswood and Tim Sullivan on Thursday 15 February 2024 at 7:30 in the shop.

Sarah Hawkswood describes herself as a ‘wordsmith’ who is only really happy when writing. She read Modern History at Oxford and first published a non-fiction book on the Royal Marines in the First World War before moving on to medieval mysteries set in Worcestershire.

Tim Sullivan is a crime writer, screenwriter and director whose film credits include A Handful of Dust. Early in his career he directed Jeremy Brett’s iconic portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in ITV’s The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes. The Teacher is the sixth in his series featuring DS George Cross.
