Holiday Reads
As I woke up this morning to a very grey and dreary London, I am especially pleased to be going on holiday tomorrow to sunny Spain. For me one of the best things about preparing for holiday is choosing what books to take. But I made the silly mistake of buying them over a month ago and they’ve been sitting on my bookcase, staring at me longingly, ever since.
I normally take two or three books away with me and read the first couple of pages to see if it’s a good holiday read. Unfortunately with Jasper Gibson’s A Bright Moon for Fools I started and couldn’t stop. The book was finished in a matter of days.
But thankfully, I have two titles left to read: The Deaths by Mark Lawson and The Lemon Grove by Helen Walsh – which is actually set on the island of Mallorca where I’m going on holiday!
Do you have any great holiday reads to share?
