Glass Houses, by Rachel Caine – the first book in the Morganville Vampire series – has  officially been voted the most popular book with children in the UK today.

In a poll carrired out by Renaissance Learning, over 300,000 children from 1000 schools were asked which were their favourite books, and Glass Houses came up trumps beating the likes of Harry Potter and Twilight.  The second book in the Morganville Vampire series, The Dead Girls’ Dance, also made the Top Ten list (at number five!).
